Entry Types
Transparency Log V2 should support material corrections, retractions or removals, source-ingestion issues, prompt/model/pipeline changes, policy updates, content-class risk assessment updates, incident summaries, launches of new interactive features, significant ranking or recommendation logic changes, and material appeal outcomes where public disclosure is appropriate.
Public Fields
- Public title.
- Public summary.
- Affected content or system area.
- Date opened.
- Date resolved where applicable.
- Public status.
- Public action taken.
- Safe links to affected public content or policy where appropriate.
Internal Fields
- Decision owner.
- Internal evidence reference.
- Restricted evidence links.
- Reviewer notes.
- Reporter communication status.
- Legal or safety review flag.
- Redaction rationale.
Restricted Fields
Personal data, private reporter identity, private reviewer notes, legal advice, security-sensitive exploit detail, unresolved incident drafts, credentials, private service URLs, and raw evidence that could create additional harm must not be publicly rendered.
Metrics
Report counts, categories, correction outcomes, review time, transparency-log entries, source/provenance failures, reviewed prompt/model/source changes, and appeal outcomes should not be promised publicly until they can be collected reliably and safely.
