Source-Controlled Doc

This public page is rendered from product-development/trust-and-safety/public-operations/correction-and-enforcement-ladder.md.

Editorial And Content Actions

For product-published or AI-assisted content, available actions are:

  • No action, with rationale recorded.
  • Private explanation to reporter where appropriate.
  • Metadata or label correction.
  • Source link correction.
  • AI regeneration.
  • Human rewrite.
  • Added context note.
  • Public correction note.
  • Transparency-log entry.
  • Removal or retraction from a public surface.
  • Pause a prompt, model, source feed, or content class.
  • Escalation to legal or senior review.

Appeal And Reconsideration

Material rejected correction requests can be reconsidered when the requester is affected, provides new evidence, identifies a material review error, or raises a serious public-interest concern.

Future User-Conduct Ladder

For future active user features, the launch prerequisite ladder should include no action, education or warning, comment or post removal, temporary feature restriction, account restriction, appeal, repeat-abuse escalation, and legal or safety escalation where required.

This future ladder is not a claim that Parliament People currently operates public user-content moderation.

Public Transparency

Material corrections, retractions, policy changes, source-ingestion issues, incidents, and appeal outcomes with public significance should be considered for the transparency log.
