Ministers said the Home Office’s first State of Extremism report, due by the end of the year, may name people or groups spreading extremism where necessary and fair, as peers challenged the Government on antisemitism, Prevent, free speech, charity powers, online radicalisation and the need for clear safeguards against profiling or politicised labels.
