Peers challenged ministers over whether Ofcom and the Online Safety Act are doing enough to tackle antisemitism, anti-Traveller abuse, algorithmic amplification and crisis disinformation on platforms such as X; the Government said Ofcom is engaging with major platforms, a stronger crisis code will be brought to Parliament, and further action will follow its review of online hate and algorithms.
