Defence minister Luke Pollard said a fully funded Defence Investment Plan will be published before the NATO summit, covering equipment, housing, sites and personnel, but MPs questioned whether the package is enough to deliver the Strategic Defence Review, reassure industry and avoid gaps in major programmes such as the Global Combat Air Programme.
