At Prime Minister’s Questions, MPs pressed Sir Keir Starmer on when the government will publish its promised defence investment plan and how it will be paid for, while also raising violence in Northern Ireland, online harms to children, workplace suicide prevention, sewage flooding and pressures on the NHS. Starmer promised the defence plan would be set out soon and backed wider use of suicide-prevention guidance, but most of the other issues were left unresolved.
