MPs discussed the impact of the Scottish defence growth deal, with Labour saying the £50 million package will support jobs, skills and growth, including £10 million for innovation facilities on the Clyde and in Rosyth. The exchange also pressed for support for Scottish yards such as Methil, after it delivered the Seahorse pontoon early and on budget, but no further decision was announced.
