Lords debated the Home-based Working Committee’s report on whether working from home is delivering for workers, employers and the wider economy. Peers agreed that hybrid work is now a lasting part of working life, but said the evidence on productivity, promotion, training and equality is still too weak, with ministers urged to improve data, guidance and support for disabled people, carers and young workers while leaving most decisions to employers.
