MPs warned that some vape shops, mini-marts, barbers and other cash-heavy premises are being used for drug sales, counterfeit goods, money laundering and organised crime; ministers pointed to a new Home Office unit, £30 million in funding and tougher closure powers, but accepted that further planning and enforcement measures may be needed.
