Parliament People uses Substack to manage newsletter subscriptions. The Substack signup form is the subscription system of record for email address, confirmation, unsubscribe, and subscriber status.

Parliament People records placement-level newsletter events such as whether a signup prompt appeared in the feed or a reader opened the Substack publication. These events help us understand which product surfaces are useful without collecting political preferences or inferred ideology.

Newsletter signup does not require a Parliament People account. We do not use newsletter signup data to personalise parliamentary summaries.
